Yearly Temperature Information
Renowned as the "sunshine city" Lhasa enjoys an astounding annual sunshine time of 3,000 hours (1,800 hours more than Chengdu City and 1,100 more than Shanghai). The most comfortable seasons to visit Lhasa are in the summer and autumn. The city is also unique for its "night rain" and sunshine during the day. The annual rainfall is 500 mm.
