Shanghai-Snacks.B: Breakfast L: Lunch D: DinnerDay 01 : Arrive in BeijingWhen you arrive in Beijing, your guide will greet you and take you to your hotel where you will have time to relax and settle down.Accommodation: The Jade Palace Hotel 5 star (Or Similar Class)Day 02 : Beijing (B, L, D)Today"s tour will first bring you to Tiananmen Square and then to the Forbidden City, the largest and most intact group of ancient structures in the Imperial Palace. This palace was home to 24 Ming and Qing Dynasty emperors who ruled China for over 500 years. After a few hours at the Forbidden City, you will eat lunch and then head to the Summer Palace, the resort of Empress Dowager Ci Xi. If there is enough time in the day, you will also be able to see the Temple of Heaven. For dinner, you will eat Beijing"s famous Peking Duck and then head back to your hotel.Accommodation: The Jade Palace Hotel 5 star (Or Similar Class)Day 03 : Beijing (B, L, D)Today"s trip will be the amazing Great Wall of China, the only man-made structure on Earth that can be observed from the moon. After hiking for a few hours, you will have lunch and then visit the Ming Tombs, the burial site for 13 of the Ming emperors. At night you will watch an acrobatic show and then return to your hotel.Accommodation: The Jade Palace Hotel 5 star (Or Similar Class)
Day 04 : Beijing - Xian (B, L, D)
Today you will fly to Xi'an, the ancient capital city of China. When you first arrive in Xi'an you will visit the ancient City Wall followed by the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Tonight"s dinner will consist of an imperial dumpling banquet followed by a show of dancing and music from the Tang Dynasty.Accommodation: King Dynasty Hotel 4 star (Or Similar Class)Day 05 : Xian (B, L, D)After eating breakfast, you will visit the Terra-Cotta Warriors and Horses, widely regarded as the eighth wonder of the world and then visit the Tomb of Emperor Qin Shi Huang.Accommodation: King Dynasty Hotel 4 star (Or Similar Class)Day 06 : Xian - Chongqing (B, L, D)Before your flight to Chongqing you will have some free time around the city. After boarding your flight and landing in Chongqing, you will be met at the airport. In the evening you will enjoy a welcome dinner and then head to the cruise for the night.Accommodation:Regal China Cruise 5 star (Or Similar Class)
Day 07 : On The Yangtze River Cruise (B, L, D)
In the morning you will leave from Chongqing and board the boat to visit the Three Gorges. The cruise will first stop at the Ghost City of Fengdu. After returning to the boat, you will be invited to the Captain"s Welcome Party. There will be a buffet dinner followed by a music and dance show.Accommodation: Regal China Cruise 5 star (Or Similar Class)Day 08 : On The Yangtze River Cruise (B, L, D)Today, you will visit all three gorges: the Qutang Gorge, the Wu Gorge and the Xiling Gorge. Afterwards, you will journey to the Shennong Stream, where you will ride a "pea boat" up the small gorges against the rapids. In the early evening, you will be brought back to your main cruise ship to enjoy the remainder of the day.Accommodation: Regal China Cruise 5 star (Or Similar Class)After viewing the Three Gorges Dam Site, your tour of the Yangtze River will come to an end. Next you will be driven to the airport where your guide will meet you on board and see you off for the flight to Shanghai. Today you will take a tour of China"s largest city, which is also China"s principal port located on the Yangtze River Delta.
