Liberia

Liberia, officially the Republic of Liberia, is situated in West Africa, bordering the north Atlantic Ocean to the country's southwest. It covers an area of totally 111,369 square kilometers and has an estimated population of more than 3.9 million people. Trade, economic assistance and cooperation have always been important factors in China and Liberian relations. Since the resumption of bilateral relations in 2003, the Chinese Government has tried its best to promote bilateral cooperation and trade and provide assistance within its capacity to Liberia in fields of education and human resources development, agriculture, health, infrastructure and etc.
