Sierra Leone

Sierra Leone, officially the Republic of Sierra Leone, is a country in West Africa. Its territory covers a total area of 71,740 square kilometers and has a population of more than 6.2 million people. It’s bordered by Guinea to the north and east, Liberia to the southeast, and the Atlantic Ocean to the west and southwest, the country is among the top 10 diamond producing nations in the world. China and Sierra Leone established diplomatic relations in 1971. Bilateral relations between the two countries have ever since achieved a smooth development.
