In the morning you will be picked up at your hotel and be given a day's tour of Fuzhou city. You will visit Lin Zexu Memorial Hall, West Lake Park, Xichan Temple and Mt. Gu. Lin Zexu Memorial Hall was built for Lin Zexu, a national icon who banned opium in China and also helped to put a stop to the opium trade. West Lake Park is one of the most famous parks in China. It has been a popular destination beginning from the Tang Dynasty and is the most completed ancient garden in Fuzhou. Mt. Gu is a famous Buddhist mountain that rests near the Min River. It is a little ways south of Fuzhou and is named Gu due to the large rock on the peak of the mountain shaped like a drum.

Attraction Description
Lin Zexu Memorial Hall was built to commemorate Lin Zhu, a Fuzhou native who was a national hero. He was responsible for stopping the Opium Trade in 1939 and confiscated and destroyed more than1,000 kilograms of opium at Humen beach.
The West Lake located in Fuzhou city is one of the most famous West Lake's in China. The lake in Fuzhou is located near Kaihua Temple in Kaihua Islet and the area is now used as gardens and a park.
Gu Mountain is a famous Buddhist Mountain that is located on the northern bank of the Min River in the eastern area of Fuzhou. The name of the mountain comes from a large rock on the mountain that is shaped like a drum.
