Tour Itinerary
Tour Itinerary: (B-Breakfast, L-Lunch, D-Dinner) Day 01:Arrival in Urumqi (D)
Upon arrival at the Urumqi airport, you will be taken to your hotel. The rest of the day is for you to relax. Urumqi is the capital of Xinjiang and is famous for being the furthest city in the world from the ocean. The city is located on the northern slope of the Tianshan Mountains. Afterwards you will be taken to your hotel.

Day 02:Urumqi / Kashgar (B/L/D)
Today you will visit the Southern Pasture in the morning. After lunch, you will be taken to see the Lake of Heaven. Later you will travel to the airport and fly to Kashgar. Upon arrival, you will be directly taken to your hotel for the evening.

Day 03:Kashgar / Kalakuli (B/L/D)
Today you will visit the Kalakuli Lake at the foot of Mt. Muztag. The Lake is located at an altitude of 3800 meters amidst the Pamir Plateau. In the evening you will be brought to your hotel.

Day 04:Kalakuli / Kashgar (B/L/D) Today you will drive back to Kashgar. Once you have arrived in Kashgar, you will visit the Abakh Khoja Tomb, Bazaar and the Id Kah Mosque. Then you will return to your hotel for the remainder of the day.

Day 05:Kashgar / Hetan (B/L/D)
Today you will live Kashgar and first visit local minority villages, Shache's King Mausoleum, the Yinjisha Knife Market. Afterwards you will travel to Hetian, known for its white jade. You will stay at a local hotel for the night.

Day 06:Hetan / Yutan (B/L/D)
Today you will visit the King of Walnut Tree, the Jade Factory and also the Silk Factory. After lunch, you will continue on to Yutan and spend the night in a local hotel.

Today you will drive to the Taklimakan Desert and then be driven to a local hotel for the night.

Day 08:Yutan / Korla (B/L/D) Continue driving through the desert to Korla, on the way, you will cross the Tarim Bridge, view the poplar forest, and visit some minority villages. Stay in hotel in Korla.

Day 09:Korla / Turpan (B/L/D)
Drive from Korla to Turpan, on the way, sightseeing at the Bosten Lake. Afternoon visit the Jiaohe Ruined Town, the Sugong Tower, and the Karez underground irrigation system. Stay in hotel.

Day 10:Turpan / Urumqi (B/L/D)
In the morning you will be taken to the Astana Tomb, the Grape Valley, the Thousand Buddha Cave and the Flaming Hill. After lunch you will be driven back to Urumqi and on the way back, stop off at the largest power station in Asia. Then you will return to your hotel.

The last day in Urumqi, you will visit the Erdaoqiao Bazaar. Afterwards you will be taken to the airport for your trip back home.

Attraction DescriptionThe Tianshan Mountains are comprised of several mountain ranges running across the middle area of Xinjiang from East to West. Kansai Nature Reserve is one of the most famous scenic sports to see located nearby the Tianshan Mountain range.
The Astana Tombs, located just south of the Gaochang Ruins, are where the ancient people of Gaochang city are buried and the site houses over 500.
Erdaoqiao is the largest market of ethnic minority goods in Xinjiang. The covered market was first opened in 1982 and the new market was completed in 2002. Merchants at the bazaar sell all kinds of items from local products to imported products, from arts and crafts to animals.
