Austria

The Republic of Austria, "Eastern Borderlands", is a landlocked country in Central Europe which coversan area of 83871 square kilometers. Austria enjoys a temperate and alpine climate. Austria has roughly a pupulation of 8.3 million. The national day of Austria is October 26th. The terrain of Austria is higly mountainous due to the presence of the Alps. The national official language is German while in some other states the local offical languages are Croatian, Hungarian and Slovene. China and Austria have developped a very sophisticated diplomatic relationship since May 28th, 1971.
