Ghana

Ghana, officially the Republic of Ghana, is a country located on the Gulf of Guinea, only a few degrees north of the Equator, therefore it is geographically closer to the "centre" of the world than any other country. It covers an area of 238,535 square kilometers with an estimated population of more than 24 million people. Ghana established diplomatic relations with China twice, in 1960 and 1972. China and Ghana signed agreement of economic and technological cooperation and trade agreement. Since then the cooperation between China and Ghana has been developing smoothly.
