Seychelles

Seychelles, officially the Republic of Seychelles, is a island country consisting of over 116 islands scattered over 1 million square kilometers of sea in the middle of the Western Indian Ocean. It covers an total area of 451 square kilometers and has a population of over 84,000 people. The islands enjoy a pleasant tropical climate all year round. China established the diplomatic relations with Seychelles in 1976. After that it has seen a smooth relationship between the two countries. China donated USD210, 000 and a large amount of disaster relief materials to Seychelles after the 2004 tsunami.
