Switzerland

Switzerland, officially the Swiss Confederation, is a federal republic consisting of 26 cantons, with Bern as the seat of the federal authorities. Situated in Western Europe, it is bordered by Germany to the north, France to the west, Italy to the south, and Austria and Liechtenstain to the east. Covering totally an area of 41,285 square kilometers with a population of about 7.8 million(2009), Switzerland is a "permanent neutral country," pursued an active policy of neutralityIt. Switzerland developed diplomatic relation with China on September 14, 1950. The national day of Switzerland is Augest 1st.
