Togo

Togo, officially the Togolese Republic, is a West African, sub-Saharan countryw, highly dependent on agriculture, with a low climate providing good growing seasons. Togo covers an area of 57,000 square kilometers with a population of approximately 6.7 million. The official language is French. The small individual business between China and Togo began even before the two countries had diplomatic ties. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1972, some Indian and local merchants started to trade Chinese goods in Togo. Since 1981 when the two governments signed a trade agreement, trade has started to bloom in monetary exchange.
