Cloud Valley Scenic Area

The Cloud Valley Scenic Area is a famous travel site for such attractions as the Cloud Valley Villa. The pride of Cloud Valley is the Cloud Valley Villa, old trees, oddly shaped rocks and the Nine-Dragon Waterfall and the Baizhang Spring. There are some very rare and ancient trees at Cloud Valley. The Eastern China Douglas Fir is 500 years old while the Southern Hemlock is 800 years old and both still stand firm and proud despite their long history. Both trees share some unique characteristics in that they both have two kinds of branches and both conifer and broad-leaf leaves. The third famous tree is a ginkgo tree thought to be around 1,000 years old. It is certainly an eye catcher with its massive height of over 25 meters and huge girth measuring over 3 meters.
The Nine-Dragon Waterfall consists of nine levels, as the name would suggest, with each level forming a waterfall which feeds a pool. This area is the also referred to as the Rear Mountain and it is possible to climb all the way up its face. When you come to visit here, the local guide will tell you everything about the valley, its history, its story and its characteristics as well as its traditional culture.
