The best museum in the province is the Gansu Provincial Museum, more than 16 acres large. The museum is made up of three separate buildings that are linked by hallways and divided even further in an upstairs and downstairs. There are several different collections inside the museum, including murals from the Wei and Jin periods, bronze artifacts and pottery from the Neolithic Period, among other things. The majority of the archeological findings are also kept in the museum. This museum is well worth a visit
