The Shrine Hall of Li Hongzhang was built in the 28th year of Emperor Guangxu's reign during the Qing Dynasty. The hall is built besides his tomb and holds his spirit tablet. This is also the place that Li's family went to offer sacrifices. The entire complex, besides the tomb and hall, also has a storehouse. The hall and the tomb face the north. The stone archway of the complex has four columns, three rooms and three towers with four characters ˇ®Jun Heng Du Hu' engraved on it by the Emperor. These four characters mean ˇ®assuming heavy responsibilities and enjoying both felicity and longevity.'
