- Victoria Peak, also known simply as The Peak, is the most famous landmark in Hong Kong offering the most spectacular view of the city, both day and night. Most of the influential population of Hong Kong also lives in this area. The rich here throw lavish dinner parties and many people who own these homes rent them out to top executives and make a fortune. However, during the beginning of Hong Kong's history, few people traveled up The Peak. Now, it is a tourist haven. The Peak also offers several trails that run through the forests on The Peak. One can first take the tram up The Peak and then take the trails back down and pass through Plantation Road and May Road.
