One of the beautiful attractions of Guilin city includes the Ronghu Lake, situated in the center square of the city near to Lijiang Road. There is also the rich Zhongshan Road, a walking area through the central area.

The main tourist attractions around the central district include two lakes, the Ronghu (otherwise known as the Banyan Lake), as well as the Fir Tree Lake, (or Shanhu Lake). These two lakes are connected by a bridge, and are part of a beautiful park in the center of the city.
