- The Tibet Traditional Hospital was founded in 1964. It is located in the capital of Tibet, Lhasa and is the biggest traditional Tibetan medicine producing center in China. There are two producing lines that support 62 projects. This hospital is equipped with advance medical devices and filled with over 160 staff and technicians. This is the first factory that replaced the manual processing way of producing medicine with modern mechanics and, the hospital is able to produce 250 different kinds of medicine. Tibetan medicine has over a 2,000 year history and has contributed immensely to the welfare of Chinese society.
