Beijing's Capital Museum is located in the second largest Confucius Temple in Beijing, situated on Guozijian Street, and opened to the public since 1981. The temple was built in the sixth ear of the Yuan dynasty in 1302, and has been an important temple in the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties as the major site for the emperor's sacrifice to Confucius.
