Oriental Pearl TV Tower

Oriental Pearl Tower stands by the Huangpu River from the Bund in the center of Lujiazui. Even in an area famous for its grand buildings in various architectural styles, the tower stands out It is the highest TV Tower in Asia and the third highest in the world. Standing 468 meters high, the Oriental Pearl Tower is made up of massive three columns each 9 meters in diameter, the space module, the upper sphere, the lower sphere, five small spheres, the tower base and the square. The designers have set the eleven spheres of the tower so they seem to cascade down from the sky to the green grass at the base of the tower, giving the impression of pearls dropping onto an emerald plate with the two giant spheres shining like rubies. 
The Space module, which towers high into the sky to a height of 350 meters, has a Sight-seeing Floor, Conference Hall and Coffee Bar, noted for their elegance and luxury, they are popular with both locals and visitors. The sightseeing floor in the upper sphere is 263 meters high and 45 meters in diameter. It is the best place to get a panoramic view of Shanghai. When the weather is clear it allows awe-inspiring views of the distant Sheshan, Chongming Island and the Changjiang River. The upper sphere, also contains the Revolving Restaurant (which turns a complete circle once every hour), the Disco Hall, the Piano Bar (all of which are 267 meters high) and twenty KTV karaoke rooms (which are 271 meter high).
