Nanjing Road is China's premier shopping street. Starting at the Bund in the east and passing through the city center before ending in the west at the junction of the Jingan Temple and Yan'an West Street it is 3.4-miles long. There are over 600 shops along the street offering countless famous brands, superior quality goods, and new fashions, including the city's largest department store, pearl store, food store, medical shop, clothing store, and bookstore. Upscale stores including Tiffany, Mont Blanc, and Dunhill can all be found. In addition, approximately a hundred traditional stores and specialty shops still provide choice silk goods, jade, embroidery, wool, and clocks. Finally, if you want a taste of home KFC, McDonald's and Pizza Hut along with many other restaurants line both sides of the street.
