Guinea-Bissau

The Republic of Guinea-Bissau is a country in western Africa, one of the smallest states in continental Africa.Guinea-Bissau covers an area of 36,125 square kilometers and has an estimated population of almost 1.7 million people. The diplomatic relations between China and Guinea-Bissau was first established in 1974. However, in 1990 Guinea-Bissau built the "diplomatic relations" with Taiwan Authority which made China suspended the relations with Guinea-Bissau since then. The diplomatic ties of these two countries were resumed in 1998 which has been developing normally and fast.
