New Zealand, the land of long white cloud, is an island country in the southwestern Pacific Ocean. New Zealand features mainly two landmasses with numerous small islands which totally covers an area of 268,680 square kilometers. The population of New Zealand is around 4,28 million people. The independence day of New Zealand is September 26th. China and New Zealand established diplomatic relations on December 22nd, 1972. The two have developed smoothly with various exchanges and cooperation on many aspects, economically and culturally.
