White Pagoda Park

The White Pagoda Park is located on the north banks of the Yellow River. White Pagoda Park is a lively open space close to the center of Lanzhou, owing its name to the amazing White Pagoda within it. There is a White Pagoda named Baitasi that is located on the summit of a hill that turned into a part in 1958. The White Pagoda is 17 meters tall and built of brick. It was originally built to remember a Tibetan Lama of the Sa-skya-pa Sect of Tibetan Buddhism who died while traveling to Mongolia to meet with Genghis Khan during the Yuan dynasty (1271-1368) and was restored during the Ming dynasty (1368-1644).
The White Pagoda Park covers an area of 8,000 square meters (about two acres), with three stately and magnificent ancient architectural complexes within it. These harmonize with the surrounding natural landscape and the White Pagoda Mountain beyond. Here is some guide information for your travel to the White Pagoda Park: Admission Fee: CNY6/Person  Opening hours: 06:00 a.m-18:00 p.m  Contact Number: 86 931 8360800
