Tianzishan Nature Reserve

Tianzi Mountian is named after Xiang Dakun, a man who led the local farmers' revolt. The Tianzi Mountian is located in between Sangzhi County, Suoxi Valley and Zhangjiajie and is one of the four scenic zones in Wulingyuan. Every scenic spot on the mountain is natural and there are several beautiful areas filled with primeval forests, water and huge quartzite sandstone rocks, also featuring many local customs and food by the local people. There are four highlights for the breathtaking sceneries: peak forest, cloud sea, sunrise and winter snow.
Cloud and mist in the Mountain enjoys high reputation nationwide, especially just after the rain, which adds much charm to Mt. Tianzishan.
