China Travel Customs Declaration

According to China's Customs, all luggage and articles carried by inbound and outbound travelers in China should pass through the supervision of China Customs. Goods carried must fall within the limits of a reasonable amount for personal use. Goods exceeding these amounts will be taxed or refused. The practice for imported test samples is the temporary import and export, for which could be kept six months. If the test cannot be completed within 6 months, the applicant must inform the Customs Declaration Agent Company for extension which can only be dealt with once by the Customs Authorities for a maximum of six months. A failing sample must be carried back to the exporting country or be taken into the care of the local Customs of the importing country.
The applicant should pay all the charges which include all the freight for the carrying, returning and canceling after verification of the samples, the declaration fee, warehousing and storage, inspection and quarantine fees and other fees specified by the Customs Authority, the Commodity Inspection and the transportation company. The applicant shall comply with the relevant laws and regulations of China Customs, General Administration of Quality Supervision Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China and the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People's Republic of China(CNCA) to ensure that the imported sample is indeed of the specification and type appointed by CQC for CCC certification.
